ECHOforward is stoked to have Aziatix, the phenom group that shattered the charts with their latest EP, Nocturnal, produced by multi platinum producer and composer, Jae Chong, which debuted at a solid #11 on iTunes R&B/Soul charts. Their highly anticipated album is a follow up to their #4 iTunes debut release of their self-entitled EP, AZIATIX. They continue their momentum, dropping a music video along with the album for “Slippin’ Away,” which has amassed over 62,000 views in less than a week.
Aziatix have exploded onto the global scene with impressive accolades that include being featured on CNNGO, Ballerstatus and HipHopDX. They are currently the most subscribed to Musician channel on Youtube upon launch with 8,678 subscribers.
Aziatix peaked at #1 on Blastro R&B and Pop charts. They have received nearly 15,000 Likes in less than 100 days of launching in May. Their truly international fan base has place them at #3 on the Taiwan’s debut music chartsm, and #2 on Korea’s debut music charts. They have more than 10 official Facebook fan pages encompassing, Japan, Chile, Austrailia, Korea, Arab language fans, Singapore, and other countries.
They have been featured in more than 20 international media, press interviews and articles within the first month of their debut release.
The band members, “Flowsik”, Eddie, and Nicky, hail from New York, Boston and Los Angeles. As AZIATIX is currently comprised of Flowsik from New York, Eddie from Boston and Nicky from LA.
Rapper “Flowsik” was born and raised in Queens, and is no stranger in the local underground Hip-Hop scene. His talents are recognized by many in the circle including Hip-Hop pioneer Ice-T whom he recorded with for the song “Hate”. Flowsik started composing when he was 15 and has always looked up to some of the greatest in rap music like Tupac, whose depth and ability to express his thoughts freely through his music has always served as an inspiration to Flowsik.
Eddie was born in Boston, and his family moved to Korea when he was 10 years old. Most of his writing style is based on R&B, mixing it up with his unique experiences performing in Asia. Eddie has been writing songs since the age of 16. He made his debut in Korea with his self- produced album “Just My Way,” which became a hit in the local Korean music scene in 2005.
Nicky was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he is recognized as an accomplished R&B/Soul Mandarin male vocalist with five solo albums released. After years in the Asian music industry, Nicky earned the title of “Best Male Singer” in the Mandarin Pop Music Award in 2007. His songs have been used in the movie “Forbidden Kingdom” that starred international actors Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Nicky is also developing his acting career, and appeared in the movie “Mulan.”
