DULUTH, Minn. (Sept. 9, 2015) — The Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota Duluth is hosting a reception in honor to celebrate the closing of the exhibition The Way of Cheng-Khee Chee: Paintings 1974-2014 at Tweed. The reception will be held Sept. 17, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tweed Museum of Art, 1201 Ordean Court, Duluth, MN 55812.
The exhibition features 40 watercolor paintings created over the past 40 years, and will officially close on September 20. The exhibition is free and open to the public and will feature sales of recently-painted original watercolors with all proceeds going to support the Tweed Museum of Art.
The exhibition provides watercolor aficionados another chance to view the exquisite watercolors by internationally renowned master watercolor artist, Cheng-Khee Chee.
The Tweed Museum of Art is a collecting art museum that holds in trust an historical and contemporary art collection of over 9,000 artworks on behalf of the University of Minnesota and the people of Duluth and the outlying regions.
